Philadelphia - Which continues to be the mystery surrounding a possible return of Friday's veteran defence flyers Chris Pronger, though the team after the morning skate called game 5 as a game time decision.

Pronger has lost all four games of the series of quarter-finals of the Eastern Conference against the Buffalo Sabres due to a broken hand, which required surgery in the middle of March, and has marginalized him since.

But their continued work taking shots tomorrow on Friday suggested that it was preparing to play in what is shaping up as the greatest game of this series, which is currently linked to two.

Pronger will not talk with the media until after returning to the action of the game. But on the ice for a long time after his teammates, working at the wrist shots and the occasional slap shot, though it seems as if he could use their full force and effect.

Coach Peter Laviolette would not answer any questions of alignment on Friday, but said he was encouraged by Pronger's shot.

"I saw him today out there."I thought he looked good, Laviolette said.

Jeff Carter, the great Center did not participate in the skate tomorrow, and the indications are that he will not be in the lineup for game 5 after collided knee on knee with defense of sables Tyler Myers on Wednesday in the fourth game.

Ben Holmstrom was on the ice to skate tomorrow and it would be the replacement for Carter in the lineup. Holmstrom played in two games of season regularly for the flyers this season.

Carter led the team in goals in the season regular with 36. His absence could even more pressing in a line of flyers shut out in two losses in this instalment. Power of the flyers game has struggled, going 2-for-21.

Sables coach Lindy Ruff said he is not worried about that may be in the lineup.

"I am concerned only my team." That's all that worries me. If wear player a or b of the player, we know that they are good players. It would be there if they weren't good players, "said Ruff."
