Rickie weeks of Milwaukee Brewers marginalized with little finger sprain left

MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Brewers second baseman Rickie weeks is out of the lineup on Saturday against the Houston Astros after spraining his left pinkie finger to fall into second base in a robbery on Friday.


Weeks was injured in the sixth. He scored later in the inning, but did not return to the field in the seventh and was replaced by the veteran infielder Craig Counsell. Counsell is also replaced him in the game on Saturday night against the Astros. Weeks said he plans to return on Sunday and is available as a pinch manager Ron Roenicke said weeks.
